Hello, I'm Max Hoyle

During my Digital Support Services T-Level at Strode College I, along with 2 of my peers were given the chance by my tutor to assist him with the upkeep of our off college network computing room. Here we learnt how to manage 24 Windows 11 computers Via Active Directory, setting up user accounts, managing group policies and ensuring all systems were up to date with security patches and much more detailed in my write up.

My role in the CyberCon 2025 Conference was to help organize and manage the event along with creating 3D models and a website for the event. CyberCon 2025 had companies from the local area and schools participating in the event, where they were given an opportunity to talk to attending companies with stands to better understand cybersecurity concepts. This was setup by my Digital Support Services T-Level class with slight guidance from our tutor.

Alongside my personal projects, I also work on freelance projects for clients. My main focus is on web development and cyber essentials certification preparation. This company is a platform for me to showcase my skills and build a portfolio of work. I work majority of my time on web development projects, but also help out with cyber essentials preparation when my team requires more support.

This website is a simple timer which logs your working time and allows you to track your productivity. Every time you start a timer, it records the duration and stores it in a database for later review. The timer has a coffee cup which over 30 minutes empties to indicate when you should take a break, during the break it will fill back up when you return for another work session.

This is a website for a local pub that showcases their menu, events, and location information in a modern and user-friendly interface. thequeenvictoriainn-priddy.co.uk is a fast-loading, accessible, and SEO-optimized site built with modern web technologies which I am hosting on my HomeLab server.

I have a home lab setup that allows me to experiment with various technologies and configurations in a controlled environment. It includes multiple virtual machines, network devices, and servers that I use for testing and learning purposes.
